This and many other websites of mine are on Hostgator shared webhosting. The advantage of Hostgator is nothing but the uptime, live support they provide from the very basic hosting plans. We earlier covered the advantage and disadvantage of Dreamhost web hosting. Dreamhost is very good option for people who are new to blogging or webmastering. They provide promo codes and discounts that could limit the first year hosting charges to half of the original. They have a very easy to use control panel with easy option to install scripts like WordPress. But staying with them is not safe for sites getting pretty large number of page views in short intervals of time.  Overall in my experience, Hostgator has a great reputation for shred web hosting. They also offer discount coupons for first time customers.
