Maruti Suzuki Alto KBV10

Maruti is all set to launch the revamped version of one of the most popular small cars India, the Maruti Alto K series (K10) on August 4 2010. As the name indicates, Maruti Alto K10 comes with variant of the revolutionary K-series engine used in other Maruti Suzuki models. Therefore, the new Maruti Alto K series 2010 will have improved mileage engine performance and makes a lesser carbon footprint. Maruti Cervo

Maruti Suzuki is currently the largest producer of cars in India, with complete superiority in all segments of car models. But when you look at the entry level segment, just after Alto and Wagon R, there is still some space for improvements. The Alto has been in market for the last few years. But the recently launched Chevrolet beat, Hyundai i10 are making stiff competition for Maruti Alto. Finally Maruti Suzuki is about to fill the gap between Alto and Wagon R through a small card called Cervo. The Maruti Cervo will have a better design, engine, improved interring exteriors and security. The base model of Maruti Cervo would be available for a price around 2 lakhs.

Maruti Swift K series

As per government norms all Indian car manufactures should adopt BS IV standards before the end of April 2010. To be in track with the latest requirements, Maruti announced the new 2010 version of its popular hatchback Swift. The new Maruti Swift 2010 petrol includes the latest Kb series engine that is already being used in Ritz and others. The main advantage Kseries engine are its fuel efficiency and pollution control. The new Swift 2010 petrol with K series engine has proved in test labs to deliver maximum mileage of upto 18 kmpl. It also has the new enhanced transmission system for smooth performance. Swift Diesel 2010 model comes with the same award winning DDis engine.

Hyundai i10 electric

Hyundai i10 is the second most successful car of Hyundai motors in India. The first variant of i10 was launched in 2007.  Thereafter the model has  crossed  5 lakhs in sales.  Now today at India Auto Expo 2010, Hyundai came up with new i10 electric model. i10 electric is the first electric car of Hyundai India.  The model was earlier shown at the Frankfurt motor show.  Indian model was unveiled by Bollywood badshah shahrukh khan at Pragati Maidan New Delhi . The electricity powered  Hyundai i10 does not pollute  environment  with harmful gases, and its well suited for city drive.

Skoda yeti

According to the statics on November 2009, Volkswagen group is the largest automobile company in the world on basis of production. Skoda, Audi and few other car brands in India belongs to Volkswagen group. But marketing strategy of  Volkswagen brands is different from each other. Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen cars in India have separate sales chain and dealership network. The Skoda Auto in India currently has four cars Fabia, Octavia, Laura and Superb.  Adding another one to list , Skoda today unveiled the Yeti SUV in India at Auto Expo 2010 New Delhi.

TVS Apache RTR ABS

A major share of the bike accidents in India is due to slipping at top speeds. TVS motors, the makers of Apache series of power bikes in India launched Apache RTR with ABS to counter such situations.  TVS Apache RTR ABS announced at the Auto Expo 2010.  It includes a patented technology developed in collaboration with a German firm to avoid skidding at high speeds.  The ABS technology will work at the events of heavy braking and avoid locking of  wheels to safeguard the Apache RTR.
